
Commuters across Mpumalanga can breathe a sigh of relief as bus services are officially set to resume operations starting from 12 May 2026 following a temporary suspension.In a statement released by management, the resumption of services comes after an interim agreement reached with the support and intervention of the MEC and the Premier of Mpumalanga.
Authorities expressed confidence that the latest development will pave the way for an amicable and lasting resolution while ensuring that passengers continue to receive reliable transport services.“All operations will return to normal, and we will continue adhering to the established bus timetable to ensure prompt and dependable service delivery,” the statement read.
Passengers who were affected during the service suspension and had already booked trips are urged to visit the ticket selling offices with their proof of purchase in order to process reimbursements.
Management clarified that refunds will only apply to trips that were directly affected during the halt in operations.Commuters have also been encouraged to cooperate fully with the reimbursement procedures to allow for a smooth and efficient process.
The bus company further extended gratitude to passengers for their patience, understanding, and continued support during the challenging period.“We look forward to welcoming all passengers back on board as services resume,” the statement concluded.
