MINISTER DINA PULE TO PARTICIPATE IN INAUGURAL WOMEN’S DAY EVENT IN HONOUR OF HOSI DR. NWAMITWA II

20 August 2026 — The Minister of Social Development, Ms Dina Pule, will on Saturday, 22 August 2026 as a guest speaker at the inaugural Women’s Day event in Honour of Hosi Dr. Nwamitwa II, to be held at Royal Khalanga Lodge in Nwamitwa, Limpopo Province.

Minister Pule has been invited by the Valoyi Royal Council to deliver the keynote address at the inaugural event, which is being held in honour of the late Hosi Dr. Nwamitwa II, who passed away on 9 February 2026.

Hosi Dr. Nwamitwa II was the reigning Chief of Nwamitwa from 2008 until her passing earlier this year. Prior to ascending to the throne following the passing of her father, Hosi Fofoza on 24 February 1968, as a Member of Parliament African National Congress from the first democratically elected Parliament in 1994 until 2009.

The event will be attended by Traditional Leaders, Members of the Executive Council (MECs) from Limpopo Province, the Mayor of the Greater Tzaneen Municipality, women chief executive officers of companies operating across Southern Africa, and Heads of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). The speakers , experiences and insights with members of the Nwamitwa community.
