It provides start-up capital and resources through grants for credible business plans, whilst creating sustainable job opportunities for the unemployed youth. The handover of the funding certificates emanates from a rigorous and transparent selection process.

The certificates confirm the terms, conditions, and details of a funding agreement between the beneficiaries and the Mpumalanga Provincial Government. They also serve to certify that the beneficiaries have met the criteria to receive grant funds and will utilise the financial support for the intended purpose. The Mpumalanga Provincial Government has committed that it will continue to fund the deserving youth-owned enterprises until the end of the 2025/26 financial year.
