Mandela Warriors FC hosts heritage day top 6 under 14 tournament.

In celebration of heritage day, Mandela Warriors FC hosted a top 6 under 14 tournament, at Shatale Stadium. The tournament took place on the 24th September 2025 from 11H00 – 18H00. It was made up of Mandela Warriors FC, Black Pirates, Hotbeans, Madjembeni Mancher City, Deco United, Maile United and Sedibeng all Stars united.
The first game saw Hotbeans locking horns against Madjembeni Manchester City. It was Hotbeans who drew first blood in the second half and they defended well to win the game 1 nil. The second game saw Deco United playing against Black Pirates and Deco United won the game 3 – 1. The third game saw Mandela Warriors FC playing against Sedibeng All Stars. Mandela Warriors won 3 nil. A toss had to be conducted for the remaining 3 teams for a knock out top 3.
Deco United played against Hotbeans for a slot in the final against Mandela Warriors FC who had a favourbale toss and Deco United won the semifinal fixture 1 nil to set up a final against their cross town rivals. Due to lighting issues, the final was not played.
